The heart of Get Paid is its invoicing engine — fast, flexible and built to work in the real world, with or without an internet connection.

Create & Manage Invoices

Create a new invoice in a matter of taps. Pick a customer from your saved list (or add one on the fly), add your line items from your product catalogue, apply VAT, preview the document and send — all in under a minute. Invoices are automatically numbered with your chosen prefix (e.g. INV-0001), and every invoice carries a clear status so you always know where you stand: Draft, Balance Due, Overdue, Paid or Void. Swipe to delete or move to the bin with a configurable retention period, so nothing disappears permanently by accident.

Estimates & Quotes

Win the job before you’ve done the work. Create professional estimates using exactly the same simple flow as invoices — same templates, same clarity, same speed. Estimates carry their own EST- prefix and numbering counter. When the customer says yes, convert the estimate to a full invoice in a single tap with no retyping and no duplication. Fast for you, professional for them.

Credit Notes

Issue credit notes against any customer quickly and accurately. Credit notes carry their own CRN- prefix and independent numbering, keeping your records clean and your accountant happy. Useful for refunds, adjustments or correcting billing errors without creating confusion in your invoice list.

Purchase Orders

Raise purchase orders for suppliers directly from the app using the same clean interface. PO- prefix and independent numbering keep everything organised. All four document types — Invoices, Estimates, Credit Notes and Purchase Orders — are visible as a segmented control at the top of the invoices screen so switching between them is instant.

Offline Invoicing

Get Paid is built offline-first. Every document type — invoices, estimates, credit notes and purchase orders — can be created, edited, saved and managed with zero internet connection. Whether you’re in a basement, on a remote site or at a market with no Wi-Fi, the app never lets you down. Capture everything on site and send when you’re back in range.

Professional PDF Templates

Choose from multiple polished invoice templates, each displaying your business logo, name, address, VAT registration number and clearly laid-out line items. PDFs are lightweight and optimised for email and Bluetooth sharing — no bloated attachments, fast delivery every time. Set your preferred template once in Settings and it applies to every document you create.

Multi-Language Invoices

Working with international clients? Set the language for each customer’s invoices so the PDF your customer receives is in their language. A professional touch that sets you apart and removes any ambiguity for overseas clients.

Bluetooth & Email Sharing

When the job is done, hand your customer their invoice immediately via Bluetooth — no email address needed, no waiting. Alternatively, email the PDF directly from the app, or save it and send it later from the office. Your choice, every time.

Square Point of Sale Integration

Take card payments on site without leaving the app. Every invoice has a “Pay Now via Square” button. Tap it, and Square opens automatically with the invoice amount pre-filled in GBP — no manual entry, no risk of typing the wrong figure. The customer pays by card or contactless, and Square returns you to Get Paid automatically once the transaction is complete. Clean, quick and professional.

Record Any Payment Method

Not every customer pays by card. Get Paid supports Card, Cash, BACS, Cheque and any combination — partial payments are fully supported. Record a deposit, track the outstanding balance and mark the invoice fully paid when the final amount clears. Add payment references and notes for complete records your accountant will appreciate.

Live Invoice Status

Every invoice carries a live status — Draft, Balance Due, Overdue, Paid or Void — so you can see at a glance what needs chasing and what’s been settled. The dashboard shows overdue and balance-due totals as tappable tiles that filter your invoice list instantly.

Automatic Stock Deduction

When you add a product to an invoice, Get Paid automatically deducts it from your stock levels. Your inventory stays accurate without any manual counting or spreadsheet updates. Low stock is always visible so you know when it’s time to reorder before you run out mid-job.

Reusable Products & Services

Job Timer Per Invoice

Attach a stopwatch to any invoice. Tap Start when you arrive on site and Stop when you leave — the app logs the session automatically. Return to the same job the next day and start a new session; all sessions are totalled against the same invoice. The timer survives closing and reopening the app, so nothing is ever lost if you get a call mid-job. Only one timer can run at a time across all invoices, so there’s never any confusion about which job the clock is running on. Export your full time log as a report by email.

Mileage Tracker

Log the miles you travel for any individual invoice or job. Useful for billing travel time accurately, calculating mileage allowances and keeping records for tax purposes. Enable or disable independently — it doesn’t clutter the interface if you don’t need it.

Schedule Reminders From Any Invoice

When you complete a job, set a marketing reminder directly on that invoice. Choose the interval — 6 months, 12 months, or any custom date — and write a personal message. When the date arrives, Get Paid sends you a notification and opens a beautifully formatted, pre-addressed email ready to send with a single tap. A boiler serviced today gets a reminder for next autumn. A car service gets a nudge in six months. A garden landscaped in spring gets a follow-up before winter. Set it once, forget it, and let the work come back to you.

Send All Reminders Automatically

When you have multiple reminders due — perhaps a batch of annual service customers all coming up at once — tap Send All and every email goes out automatically via Mailgun without you opening a single one individually. Connect your Mailgun account in Settings once and your marketing effectively runs itself. The app shows you exactly how many were sent successfully and flags any that need attention.

Reusable Email Templates

Write your reminder message once and save it as a template — “Annual Boiler Service Reminder”, “Car Service Due”, “12-Month Maintenance Check” — whatever suits your business. Every time you set a reminder on an invoice, pick the relevant template and the message is filled in automatically. Edit it per customer if you need to add a personal touch, or send it as-is. One template, hundreds of customers, zero repetition.

Affiliate & Product Links

Add an Amazon affiliate link or any product URL to a reminder template. Every email that uses that template includes the link automatically — a subtle recommendation to your customer that earns you a commission if they click through and buy. A boiler engineer might link to a recommended descaler. A car mechanic might link to a service kit. A small addition that costs nothing extra to send and generates passive income over time.

GDPR-Compliant Unsubscribe Management

Every marketing reminder email includes a professional unsubscribe button at the bottom. When a customer taps it, their mail app opens with a pre-written reply — they just tap Send. Get Paid notifies you immediately and removes that customer from all future reminders automatically. You can manage your opt-out list, re-enable customers who change their mind, and process multiple unsubscribes at once by pasting email addresses in bulk. Fully compliant with GDPR requirements, with no manual work on your end.

Marketing Insights Dashboard

Get Paid comes with 16 country VAT presets and automatically detects a sensible default based on your region. Set your standard rate once — such as the UK’s 20% — and it’s applied across all documents. Override per product or per line item whenever you need to. Set VAT to zero to turn it off completely for businesses that aren’t VAT registered. If the app detects a VAT rate is set but no registration number has been saved, it flags this on launch so nothing slips through the cracks.

Quarterly VAT Return Calculator

Calculate the VAT owed for any quarter directly in the app. Configurable for a UK April financial year start or any other financial year beginning, so the figures always align with your actual accounting period. A genuine time-saver at the end of each quarter and a helpful cross-check before you file.

Dashboard & Monthly Earnings

The Get Paid dashboard gives you a live overview of your business at a glance — a monthly earnings chart, plus tiles showing your total customers, invoices raised, overdue balance and total balance due. Each tile is tappable and filters your invoice list instantly, so getting from the overview to the detail takes one tap. Quick action shortcuts for New Invoice and New Customer are always visible.

Income & Payment Reports

See a breakdown of your income by payment method — Card, Cash, BACS, Cheque and any other method you’ve configured. Face ID & Touch ID Lock

Get Paid locks automatically whenever it goes to the background. Unlock it with Face ID or Touch ID — quick for you, completely inaccessible to anyone else who picks up your phone. Your customer data, your financial records and your invoice history are protected by the same biometric security you use to unlock your phone.

Local-First Data Storage

All your invoices, customers, products and records are stored on your device by default using Core Data — Apple’s robust local database. Nothing is sent to external servers without your knowledge. The app is fast because it reads from your device, not from the cloud. Your data is private because it stays with you.

Automatic Email Backups

Set up automatic backups on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule and receive them straight to your email inbox. Trigger a manual backup any time from Settings. Your backup is a complete snapshot of all your data — stored wherever your email lives, accessible from anywhere. Peace of mind without any complicated cloud setup.

Bin & Soft Delete

Deleted invoices and customers are moved to the bin rather than erased immediately. Set your preferred retention period and the app will auto-purge old items after that time. Recover anything from the bin before it’s permanently removed — because mistakes happen and quick fixes should be easy.
